Black Raspberry

In the rose family, this multi-stemmed sprawling shrub has a white flower, turning to a red berry, maturing when the berry darkens. Commonly forms broad colonies with slender, prickly with thorns, arching canes. Berries are valuable for song birds, game birds and mammals. Flowers hold value for bumble and honey bees.
