Marsh St. John's-wort
Hypericum virginicum
Duration
Perennial
Plant Type
Wildflower

A marsh herb with pink flowers clustered at the top. It naturally occurs in swamps, bogs, wet meadows, and along the shores of rivers and lakes. Its short stature makes it an excellent filler among taller wetland plants and along pond or garden edges. Unlike most St. John’s-worts, which have yellow flowers, this species is distinguished by its rosy-pink blooms.
